Hamburg brings aboard Keondre Kennedy

Veolia Towers Hamburg has announced the signing of forward Keondre Kennedy for the 2024-25 season. Kennedy (1.98 meters, 24 years old) comes off his debut season as a professional, which he spent with Reale Mutua Torino in the Italian second division. He averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in helping Torino reach the playoffs.
Kennedy played college basketball at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County for three seasons before moving to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for his final season. He averaged 13.7 points on 40.0% three-point shooting and 6.2 rebounds in 30 games for the “Spartans”.
“Keondre played a very strong rookie year in Italy,” Hamburg head coach Benka Barloschky said of his newest player. “He is a player who already has a lot on both ends of the court. His quality to create his own shot is something we were looking for. Because of his athleticism, he exerts enormous pressure on the ball. Defensively, he is able to defend several positions.”
