Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv has bolstered its frontcourt by inking center Kyle Alexander to a one-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Alexander (2.08 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Valencia Basket, where he averaged 5.7 points on 66.0% two-point shooting and 3.1 rebounds in 27 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season, stepping on the court less than 15 minutes per game.

Alexander joined Valencia from fellow Spanish side Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, where he played the previous two years. He averaged 9.8 points and 5.0 rebounds in 33 Spanish League games in the 2021-22 season, ranking second overall in blocked shots (1.5 bpg.). He started his career with Miami of the NBA, and has also played for Sioux Falls of the G League and Scarborough Shooting Stars of Canada. Alexander has been a member of the Canadian national team and is set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with Hapoel next season.
