Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv made its third signing of the day with the announcement that big man Miron Ruina was joining the team. Ruina (2.03 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Hapoel Galil Elyon, where he averaged 5.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in the Israeli League last season. Despite playing less than 20 minutes per game, he was 15th in the league in rebounds.
He has also played for Hapoel Kfar Saba, Elitzur Yavne, Hapoel Eilat and Hapoel Gilboa Galil. Ruina was a member of the Israeli national team that won the silver medal at the 2017 European U20 Championship and a gold at the same event in 2018. He is due to make his EuroCup debut this season with Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv.
