If history is any indication, Wednesday's clash between the Spanish rivals in Group A – MoraBanc Andorra and Joventut Badalona – promises to be a high-scoring affair.
Head-to-Head: Andorra vs. Joventut

Joventut enters this clash with 7DAYS EuroCup's best defense, one that allows just 69.3 points per game, and holds opponents to league-low 47.5% on two-point shots, as well as a second-lowest 31.9% from three-point range. Andorra also does well defending the perimeter, holding opponents to 32.7% on three-pointers, third-best in the EuroCup, but allows a middle-of-the-pack 52.2% on two-pointers and 80.1 points per game.
However, when these two have met before in the EuroCup, they have found it hard to stop each other.

In three previous EuroCup games between them – two in the 2019-20 season and one in Round 5 earlier this season – it was always the home team that won. Coincidentally, that winning home team always tallied exactly 90 points, too.
Joventut has scored 89 points once and 90 points twice in games against Andorra. Joventut did not shoot particularly well from long range across those three games, but it has gone 56.0% on two-pointers, including 25-for-38 (65.8%) in its 90-80 home victory in Round 5. Joventut also dished 24 assists in that game and committed just 8 turnovers.
However, Andorra was able to dish 21 assists in that Round 5 loss, which is something it does well when playing against Joventut, averaging 20.3 assists over their three previous EuroCup meetings
Andorra will need its offense to be clicking on Wednesday night, too, because in addition to its EuroCup-best defense, Joventut's offense has been hard to stop in the past three months.

Over nine games since their Round 5 clash, Joventut has only lost once, and enters this contest on a season-best seven-game winning streak.
During that winning run, Joventut is averaging 88.1 points per game and knocking down an impressive 41.2% of its three-point shots while distributing 21.9 assists per game.
During that same stretch of seven games, Andorra has three wins and has posted 80.0 points per game. However, in its last game, a rescheduled Round 9 contest against Slask Wroclaw, Andorra scored 99 points, sinking 13 triples and finishing with 23 assists.
Reproducing that kind of offensive display again would go long ways for Andorra against EuroCup's best defense, which so far this season has led Joventut to the best record in the competition at 11-2.
