Jerusalem beefs up backcourt with Jared Harper
Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem bolstered its backcourt with the signing of Jared Harper at point guard. The deal is for two years.
Harper (1.78 meters, 26 years old) spent the last two seasons with Valencia Basket, for which he averaged 9.6 points and 2.8 assists in a combined 53 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games.
Harper was a two-time All-Southeastern Conference selection at Auburn University, where he was a teammate of Hapoel center Austin Wiley for three seasons.
He shuttled between the NBA and the G League in his first three professional seasons. He played for the Phoenix Suns and Northern Arizona Suns in 2019-20, for the New York Knicks and Westchester Knicks the following season and for the New Orleans Pelicans and Brimingham Squadron in 2021-22.
