The playmaker arrives in Israel after previous stops in Germany, Turkiye and Italy
Jerusalem tabs guard Cassius Winston

Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem added another weapon to its backcourt by inking guard Cassius Winston, the club announced on Wednesday.
Winston (1.85 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Unahotels Reggio Emilia, where he averaged 15.9 points and 5.1 assists in 32 Italian League games last season. He also played in the BCL, where he was worth 14.8 points and 5.7 assists in 16 games.
Winston finished his college career at Michigan State University before joining the Washington Wizards. He also played for the Erie Bayhawks and the Capital City Go-Go of the G League before joining FC Bayern Munich, where he made his EuroLeague debut in the 2022-23 season and posted 11.0 points and 3.4 assists in 29 games. He helped Bayern win the German Cup in 2023. Winston has also played for Tofas Bursa in Turkiye.
Winston is set to make his BKT EuroCup debut with Jerusalem next season, where he will share backcourt duties with the competition's reigning MVP Jared Harper.
