Lefteris Bochoridis sticks with Aris for two more seasons

Aris Thessaloniki retained a key piece of its backcourt by re-signing veteran guard Lefteris Bochoridis on a two-year deal, the club announced Saturday.
Bochoridis (1.96 meters, 31 years old) rejoined Aris in the summer of 2023 and played a central role in helping the club reach the EuroCup Playoffs in its return to the competition that season. He averaged 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11 EuroCup games last season. Those numbers rose to 6.7 points and 4.9 boards in the Greek League and even higher to 9.6 points and 5.4 rebounds in the Greek playoffs.
This marks Bochoridis’s third stint with Aris, the club where he began his professional career. He has also played for Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, with whom he won two Greek League championships and four Greek Cups, and for the Greek national team, most recently appearing at the 2023 Basketball World Cup.
Bochoridis has amassed 31 EuroCup appearances with Aris and 91 EuroLeague appearances in six campaigns with Panathinaikos.
