A breakout in the ANGT
Sirvydis proved himself to be a top talent in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament as he led U18 Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius to the 2018 crown with a victory over Stellazzurra Rome in the championship game. He was named tournament MVP after he averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals in the finals. Before that, he was the MVP at the ANGT Kaunas qualifying event, too.
Already that season Sirvydis broke into Rytas's senior team and made a pair of appearances in the EuroCup. The following season, he was already a rotation player and started in 11 of his 17 games played. Over 35 games in three EuroCup seasons with Rytas, Sirvydis made 40 of his 96 three-point attempts (41.7%) while averaging 5.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 14:07 minutes. He also helped Rytas win the 2019 Lithuanian Cup.
Moving abroad
Sirvydis first went abroad to play in Israel for Hapoel Jerusalem in 2020 when the Israeli League season resumed following the COVID-19 pandemic. He also played for the club in the Basketball Champions League. Then, the Detroit Pistons, who had selected Sirvydis in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft, signed him to a multi-year deal. Sirvydis played in 20 games for Detroit in the 2020-21 campaign and 3 the following season. He also played 21 games for Detroit's G-League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.
