The Estonian sharpshooter rejoins his former team after two seasons in Spain
Lietkabelis reunites with Kristian Kullamae

Lietkabelis Panevezys has brought back a familiar face with the signing of guard Kristian Kullamae for the 2025–26 season.
Kullamae (1.94 meters, 26 years old) returns to the club after spending the past two seasons with Surne Bilbao Basket in Spain. The Estonian international previously played for Lietkabelis in the 2022–23 campaign, when he helped the team reach the EuroCup Playoffs and finish third in the Lithuanian League. That season, he averaged 11.0 points, 3.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds in EuroCup play.
Kullamae arrives from Bilbao, where he played in both the Spanish League and FIBA Europe Cup. He averaged 10.1 points in his first season and was part of the squad that won the 2024–25 FIBA Europe Cup title.
“Iceland grew significantly as a player in Spain’s ACB over the past two years,” said Lietkabelis sports director Lukas Grabauskas. ”With Kris returning to Panevezys, we expect him to integrate quickly under coach Nenad Canak and be even stronger than before.”
A native of Tallin, Kullamae developed through clubs in Germany and Spain before joining Lietkabelis in 2022. He is the son of Estonian basketball legend Gert Kullamae and has been a regular member of Estonia’s senior national team since 2019
