The 25-year-old guard brings scoring punch and pedigree as the son of former EuroLeague standout Michael Hawkins
London Lions add backcourt firepower with Nigel Hawkins

The London Lions added another weapon to the backcourt with the signing of Nigel Hawkins for the remainder of the season. Hawkins (1.92 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Anorthosis Famagusta of Cyprus, where he was tied for second in scoring (21.5 ppg.) and ranked third in PIR (21.5 per game) in the Europe Cup this season. He made 47-9% of his three-pointers and also contributed 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steal over eight games.
Hawkins played college basketball at UTEP and Stephen F. Austin before making his professional debut in 2024 in Slovakia with Spisski Rytieri. Nigel becomes a second-generation EuroCup player; his father, Michael Hawkins, played in the EuroLeague for Real Madrid and Slask Wroclaw and in the EuroCup for Ostend in the early 2000s.
