Adamu returns home after a strong season in Finland
London Lions land British guard Amin Adamu

The London Lions have added a homegrown talent to their backcourt by signing British guard Amin Adamu for the 2025–26 campaign.
Adamu (1.96 meters, 27 years old) arrives in London after a strong season with Salon Vilpas in Finland, where he played a key role in securing a third-place finish in the domestic playoffs. He averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists last season.
Born in London and raised in Scotland, Adamu played college basketball at Montana State University before launching his professional career in 2022 in Austria with the Kapfenberg Bulls. He followed that with a season in the Czech Republic with BK Olomoucko before heading to Finland last season.
His international experience includes representing Great Britain at both youth and senior levels, including appearances in the 2023 Baskteball World Cup qualifiers and EuroBasket 2025 qualification. Adamu’s arrival adds athleticism to the Lions’ perimeter rotation, and his two-way impact is expected to complement the team’s high-tempo style.
