Like his club, the playmaker comes to the EuroCup for the first time
NINERS Chemnitz adds veteran guard Corey Davis

NINERS Chemnitz has signed experienced American playmaker Corey Davis to bolster its backcourt for the 2025-26 campaign.
Davis (1.85 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Italian side Vanoli Cremona and brings with him a wealth of international experience, having previously competed in Italy, France, Spain, Turkey, Montenegro, and Canada. A proven three-point shooter and savvy passer, he averaged 13.6 points on 41.7% three-point shooting, 5.7 assists, and 2.5 rebounds last season in the Italian League. Davis ranked fourth in the league in assists.
After playing college basketball at the University of Houston, Davis began his professional career in Turkiye with Afyon Belediyespor in 2019. The came stints with Gravelines-Dunkerque in France, Mornar Bar in Montenegro, Trieste in Italy, Girona in Spain and Cremona. He should arrive in Chemnitz next month in top shape; Davis is currently playing for the Vancouver Bandits in the Canadian CEBL. In 2024, he set the league record for assists with 126 in 22 games.
