[Bahcesehir College Istanbul](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/bahcesehir-college-istanbul/roster/bah/?season=2025-26) announced a deal with center [Furkan Haltali](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/furkan-haltali/012405/) to remain together for another season.

Haltali (2.07 meters, 22 years old) averaged 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds over 17 BKT EuroCup games last season, helping Bahcesehir reach the semifinals and ranking fourth overall in offensive rebounds per 40 minutes (5.2). He started his career with Banvit Bandirma and also played for Teksut Bandirma, Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul, Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir before joining Bahcesehir last summer. 

Haltali helped Efes win the Turkish League in 2023. He has also been a member of the Turkish national team. Haltali won a bronze medal with Turkiye at the 2018 U16 European Championships.

Ferrell (1.82 meters, 32 years old) averaged 12.4 points on 89.7% free throw shooting and 3.7 assists in 18 EuroCup games last season in helping Buducnost reach the playoffs. He started his professional career with the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA and also played for the Long Island Nets and the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League, the Dallas Mavericks, the Sacramento Kings, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the LA Clippers of the NBA, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens of Greece, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia and the Shanghai Sharks of China.

Ferrell helped Cedevita win back-to-back Slovenian League and Cup doubles in 2022 and 2023 and has led Buducnost to Montenegrin League championships in each of the last two seasons. In 2025, Ferrell also helped Buducnost win the Montenegrin Cup and reach the Adriatic League finals. in 59 EuroCup career games with Cedevita and Buducnost, Ferrell has averaged 14.6 points and 4.4 assists. He ranks third all-time in free throw shooting (91.2%), only trailing Ryan Toolson (94.7%) and Andrius Slezas (91.7%).

Yogi Ferrell has re-signed his contract with Buducnost VOLI Podgorica.

Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana and forward Rok Radovic have agreed to terms on a contract extension that will keep them together through the end of the 2026-27 season

Cedevita extends Rok Radovic through 2027

[Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/cedevita-olimpija-ljubljana/roster/lju/?season=2025-26) and forward [Rok Radovic](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/rok-radovic/009392/) have agreed to terms on a contract extension that will keep them together through the end of the 2026-27 season. That will mark eight seasons for Radovic with the club.

Radovic (2.00 meters, 24 years old) appeared in all 20 Cedevita games last season and averaged 3.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 13 minutes per game to help the club reach the quarterfinals. He posted 5.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in the Adriatic League.

Best of Rok Radovic: 2024-25

"Rok Radovic has been an important part of Cedevita, now Cedevita Olimpija, for many years. Last season, Rok delivered numerous solid performances, and in the upcoming season, we expect further progress and greater consistency in his game," Coach Zvezdan Mitrovic said on the club's website.

Radovic came through the ranks of the Helios Domzale youth system and made his professional debut with Croatian side Malodst Cacinci. He went on to play for Cedevita Zagreb and OKK Belgrade before landing in Ljubljana in February 2020. He has since also earned a spot on the Slovenian national team.

He had one of his best performances of the season with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in the eighthfinals victory over Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul. Jones also helped Cedevita win the Slovenian League and Cup double.

Best of DeVante' Jones: 2024-25

After a college career that saw him play at Coastal Carolina College and the University of Michigan, Jones began his professional career in France. He played for Metropolitans 92, alongside Victor Wembanyama, during the 2022-23 season and suited up for Le Mans the next season. At Trento he will be reunited with Selom Mawugbe, who was his teammate two years ago at Le Mans.

Papas (1.96 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Peristeri Athens, where he averaged 10.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in the Greek League last season. Papas made his professional debut with Olympiacos Piraeus during the 2022-23 season. He played two seasons for the Reds – and appeared in 4 EuroLeague games – before moving to Promitheas Patras late in the 2023-24 season.

Papas played college basketball at Monmouth University and was named to the All MAAC (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) First Team in 2022 and to the Second Team the season before. Born in the United States to a Greek family, Papas has played for the Greek national team.

[Veolia Hamburg Towers](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/veolia-hamburg-towers/roster/ham/?season=2024-25) picked up some scoring punch with the signing of Eric Reed for the 2025-26 season.

Reed (1.93 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Belgian side Spurs Kortrijk, for which he averaged 15.1 points on 42.4% three-point shooting, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game in the BNXT League (the top professional league in Belgium and the Netherlands). He made 2.8 three-pointers per game and was the top scorer on the team as it reached the playoff semifinals. Reed was named to the All-BNXT League First Team.

Reed played college basketball at Howard College, Southeast Missouri State University and Mississippi State University. He was an All- Ohio Valley Conference First Team selection in 2022. Reed began his professional career Cyprus with Etha Engomis in the summer of 2023 and he finished that season with Aris Midea Thessaloniki in Greece.

"Eric played at a very high level last season, for a very good coach. He was an important part of a very successful team," Coach Benka Barloschky said. "The way he plays has a big part in this. He is a two-way player; his combination of scoring and defense is something special. I'm very much looking forward to our cooperation."

Newman (1.96 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Belgian side Kortrijk Spurs, where he averaged 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals last season, his first as a professional. He helped the team reach the BNXT League finals and the Belgian League semifinals. Newman shot an impressive 60.6% on two-pointers and 37.5% from behind the arc.

“John brings tremendous energy to the floor every single minute,” head coach Rodrigo Pastore said. “He can impact the game on both ends with his hustle, defense and toughness.”

Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Newman is known for his energy, defensive intensity, and versatility. He played college basketball at Clemson University and the University of Cincinnati. He was named to the Big 12 Conference All-Defensive Team in 2024. He also starred for Team USA at the 2019 World University Games, earning MVP honors in the final against Ukraine as USA took the gold medal.

“I watched some NINERS games and was impressed by the team’s intensity and unselfishness,” Newman said. “You could also see the passion of the fans—this is a place where basketball really matters, and every player wants to be in that kind of environment. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to represent this club.”

One of the youngest players in this year's draft, the 18-year-old Essengue averaged 12.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 18 EuroCup games as a part-time starter for Ulm.

"It's been amazing," Essengue told Chicago reporters when asked about his experience playing for Ulm. "I think it's really helped me become better person not only on the court, but also off the court. Being everyday around people who played in the NBA or in the EuroLeague has been really helpful."

Saraf produced 12.6 points, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals in 16 EuroCup appearances. Essengue followed in the footsteps of [Pacome Dadiet](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/pacome-dadiet/011457/), who was chosen by the New York Knicks with the 25th selection last year by the New York Knicks.

Beringer, who burst onto the scene with Cedevita this season, was worth 4.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. He got stronger as the year progressed, posting PIRs in double figures in five of his last six appearances, including a 12-point, 5-rebound effort in his team's [96-86 victory](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/news/cedevita-olimpija-downs-besiktas-96-86-to-reach-quarterfinals/) over Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul in the eighthfinals.

### The impact of NextGen on the NBA Draft

Essengue (U18 LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne; U18 INSEP Paris; U18 ratiopharm Ulm), Saraf (U18 Next Generation Team Patras), Beringer (U18 Next Generation Team Dubai) and Gonzalez (U18 Real Madrid) all appeared at the adidas NextGen EuroLeague tournament in recent times. 

That is also the case for No. 8 pick Egor Demin (ex-U18 Real Madrid), No. 19 pick Nolan Traore (ex-U18 INSEP Paris), and No. 20 pick Kasparas Jakucionis (ex-U18 FC Barcelona).

During the 2023-24 NextGen tournament in Dubai, Essengue was named the MVP. Jakucionis also earned MVP honors during a NextGen tournament, doing so in both Zadar (2022-23) and Belgrade (2023-24). Gonzalez twice lifted the NextGen title with U18 Real Madrid in 2023 and 2024, while Traore set the NextGen Finals scoring record in that 2024 championship game to Gonzalez's Madrid.

[Lietkabelis Panavezys](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/7bet-lietkabelis-panevezys/lkb/) and guard [Dovis Bickauskis](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/dovis-bickauskis/009898/) have reached an agreement to remain together for one more year with an option for another season.

Bickauskis (1.90 meters, 31 years old) averaged 9.4 points on 42.9% three-point shooting and 2.9 assists in 17 BKT EuroCup games last season, his second with Lietkabelis. Other than a season with Romanian side CSM CSU Oradea, Bickauskis has played in his native Lithuania for his entire career.

He suited up for Radviliskio SSPC, Puntukas Jarimpeksas Anyksciai, Statyba Vilnius, Perlas-MRU Vilnius, Trakai, Juventus Utenos, Rytas Vilnius and Jonavos CBet before joining Lietkabelis in 2023. Bickauskis has also been a member of the Lithuanian national team. In 39 EuroCup career games with Rytas and Lietkabelis, Bickauskis has amassed 284 points and 120 assists.
