Malwaya, a France international at under-17 level, has spent his entire career to date developing in the ASVEL youth system. On the European stage, he first appeared in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Valencia in 2019-20, doing so off the bench, before featuring in the same tournament one year later as a starter. In the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Valencia Finals, Malwaya started all three games, but it was in the 2021-22 season when he took a big step forward. He will now hope to continue his upwards trajectory with Paris, which also has a number of other exciting prospects on its roster.
