Prometey Slobozhanske reached an agreement with guard Issuf Sanon to remain together for another season, the club announced Thursday. Sanon (1.94 meters, 23 years old) averaged 8.0 points and 2.2 assists in 21 EuroCup games, mostly coming off the bench, last season, his first in the competition. He helped Prometey reach the EuroCup Semifinals and win the Latvian-Estonian League title.

Born in Donetsk, Sanon started his career with Ukrainian side Dnipro before joining Union Olimpija Ljubljana at age 18, where he played for the best part of the two seasons. He returned to Dnipro and briefly played for Siauliai before joining Prometey last summer. Sanon helped Olimpija win the Slovenian League championship in 2018. He is also a regular member of the Ukrainian national team.
