Prometey seals move for Rashard Kelly
Prometey Slobozhanske has confirmed the signing of Rashard Kelly, who joins the team following the long-term injury of Arnoldas Kulboka. Kelly (2.03 meters, 28 years old) last played for Wolves Vilnius, averaging 11.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 11 Lithuanian League games. He returns to the BKT EuroCup after last playing in the competition for Dolomiti Energia Trento in the 2018-19 season, when he posted 8.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals in 16 appearances.
Kelly began his professional career with BC Parma in Russia (2018-19) before going on to play for Trento in Italy (2019-20), Gaziantep in Turkiye (2020-21), Dijon in France (2021-22), the Tasmania JackJumpers in Australia (2022-23) and Wolves in Lithuania (2022-23). The best statistical season of Kelly's career came at Dijon, as he averaged a personal-best 13.3 points across 14 games, as well as posting 7.6 rebounds, which is the second-highest average he has recorded in this category.
