ratiopharm Ulm has completed the signing of Isaiah Roby, who played 151 games in the NBA between the 2019-20 and 2022-23 seasons.
Roby (2.03 meters, 26 years old) last played for the Westchester Knicks in the G League, averaging 13.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 26 games last season.
Prior to last season, Roby had spent the previous four seasons playing in the NBA.
While he played just three times in the 2019-20 campaign, the power forward earned a bigger spot in the rotation in 2020-21, playing 61 games and averaging 8.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
Then, in 2021-22, Roby had his best scoring season to date, posting 10.1 points, 4.8 assists and 1.6 assists in 45 games.
His last season in the NBA, in 2022-23, he played 42 times for the San Antonio Spurs, largely off the bench, and averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds.
Next season will be Roby's first campaign outside of the United States.
