Buducnost VOLI Podgorica got into the Group B win column with a resounding 58-98 road win at Slask Wroclaw on Tuesday. It marked the biggest margin of difference for Buducnost in its 184 7DAYS EuroCup games to date.

Buducnost broke open a close game by dominating the middle quarters 27-45 and then outscoring Slask 4-11 to start the fourth. Cameron Reynolds led the winners with 21 points, making 5 three-pointers, and 7 rebounds. Alpha Kaba added 16 points, Igor Drobnjak 13 and Kenan Kamenjas 10. The Buducnost defense limited Slask to one double-figure scorer, Jeremiah Martin with 17 points.

Kaba had a pair of put-backs as Buducnost raced to a 2-9 lead before Aleksander Dziewa's 5 points in a row steadied Slask. Nonetheless, Marko Jagodic-Kuridza's second triple let Buducnost double the hosts, 9-18. Kemenjas, with 3 consecutive baskets, lifted the difference to 15-26. Daniel Golebiowski helped Slask cut the difference before Lukasz Kolenda beat the buzzer for a 21-26 score after 10 minutes. Kolenda got Slask as close as 24-28 off a steal by Martin before Buducnost pulled away again to 24-35 on a triple by Trae Bell-Haynes. Drobnjak soon took it to 28-41 and the difference soared to 33-50 at halftime on three-pointers by Reynolds and Aaron White. Slask scored the first 7 points after halftime to make it 40-50 on Connor Morgan's three-pointer, but Reynolds took over then with 8 consecutive points to make it 40-61 as the visitors assumed full control to eventually lead 48-71 after 30 minutes. Slask failed to produce a quicker pace of scoring while Kaba returned to keep Buducnost's total ticking, making the outcome clear well before the final buzzer.
