Umana Reyer Venice announced on Saturday that it has signed Kendrick Ray for the remainder of the season. Ray (1.88 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Bosnian side Igokea Aleksandrovac, for which he averaged 15.0 points, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steal in 15 Adriatic League games this season. This will be Ray’s second time in the EuroCup; he averaged 13.3 points, 3.9 assists and 0.9 steals in 16 games for Promitheas Patras last season.

Ray started his career with CEZ Basketball Nymburk of the Czech Republic and also played for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv of Israel, Le Mans Sarthe Basket of France, AEK Athens of Greece and Socar Petkimspor of Turkey. Ray helped Nymburk win the Czech League and Cup double in 2018, lifted the Greek Cup with AEK in 2020 and reached the French Cup championship game with Le Mans in 2019. He also played in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Maccabi in the 2018-19 campaign.
