2021-22 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season comes to its finish line. With all 16 playoff teams already determined, 10 games from Monday through Wednesday will decide the seedings in both groups and set up single-elimination eighthfinals clashes, which the top four teams in each group will play on their respective home courts.
This week at a glance

Group A
Hamburg Towers vs. Lietkabelis Panevezys
The final week of the regular season starts on Monday with a rescheduled Round 13 game in which Hamburg Towers (6-8) hosts Lietkabelis Panevezys (8-6). Hamburg will be motivated as it is the final regular-season home game for the team, however, this clash carries a lot more significance for Lietkabelis because the Lithuanian side could lock up home-court advantage with two wins this week.
Slask Wroclaw vs. MoraBanc Andorra
Slask Wroclaw (3-12) will play its final home game of the season on Wednesday when it hosts MoraBanc Andorra (9-6) in the Round 18 opener of Group A. Slask will finish eighth in the group and will have the worst record among the playoff teams, meaning it will play each game away from home. Andorra, on the other hand, is in the fight for home-court advantage, but whether it gets it or not depends also on what Lietkabelis does in its two games this week.
Turk Telekom Ankara vs. Hamburg Towers
Turk Telekom Ankara (7-8) welcomes Hamburg Towers (6-8) to the Turkish capital in the regular-season finale for both teams. Turk Telekom got a major confidence boost last week when it won where few teams have this season, in Panevezys, and now will try to make it three wins in a row for the first time this season. For Hamburg, it will be the second game in less than 48 hours as it battles for better seeding for the playoffs. The only sure thing ahead of this contest is that the team that loses will finish in seventh place.
Dolomiti Energia Trento vs. Partizan NIS Belgrade
Last-place Dolomiti Energia Trento (1-14) will close out its season when it hosts Partizan NIS Belgrade (11-4). Trento has nothing but pride to play for, as it has lost 11 consecutive games, a streak it would love to end against a formidable opponent. Partizan has a lot more to play for, however, despite being locked into second place of Group A, as it will be looking to improve its record and enter the playoffs on a three-game winning streak.
Boulogne Metropolitans 92 vs. Lietkabelis Panevezys
Lietkabelis Panevezys (8-6) will finish its double-duty this week when it pays a visit to Boulogne Metropolitans 92 (10-5) on Wednesday night. Metropolitans has secured home-court advantage, thanks to the performances since the last meeting between the two teams. After Lietkabelis beat Metropolitans 96-89 in Round 9, Metropolitans has won in seven of its last eight games. The team will want to maintain a winning momentum and clinch third place in the standings, but Lietkabelis could likely need a win to secure home-court advantage, making this game one with the highest stakes this week.
Group B
Frutti Extra Bursaspor vs. Buducnost VOLI Podgorica
Frutti Extra Bursaspor (8-9) will look to continue its recent surge when it hosts Buducnost VOLI Podgorica (9-8) in the first game of Round 18. Bursaspor is on a four-game winning streak, which has not only propelled it into the playoffs, but allowed it to fight for fifth place in Group B, which Bursaspor will claim if it wins this game in regulation. Buducnost, on the other hand, needs a win, and a loss by either Cedevita or Virtus, to secure home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse vs. Virtus Segafredo Bologna
Already-eliminated Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse (6-11) will finish its EuroCup campaign when it welcomes Virtus Segafredo Bologna (10-7) to town. The visitors have won four of their last five games and are highly motivated knowing a win secures them home-court advantage in the eighthfinals. Bourg, however, will be thrilled to play the role of spoiler, something it did to perfection last week when it won in Podgorica.
Valencia Basket vs. ratiopharm Ulm
Valencia Basket (11-6) will look to snap its two-game losing streak when it hosts ratiopharm Ulm (7-10). For Valencia, a win would clinch second place in Group B. Having already beaten Ulm 70-76 when they met in early January, Valencia will try to restore that same defensive performance after allowing 84.7 points over its last three games. Ulm, on the other hand, is locked into eighth place in Group B and already knows that in the eighthfinals it will play against Group A winner Joventut Badalona.
Promitheas Patras vs. Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana
The hottest team in the competition, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (10-7) will look to continue its impressive winning and lock up home-court advantage in the eighthfinals when it visits last-placed Promitheas Patras (4-13). Cedevita is riding a seven-game winning streak, during which it has won each game by at least 6 points, and has averaged 89.0 points per game. Cedevita can climb as high as second place if it wins and Valencia loses, too. Promitheas cannot move out of last place, but will try to finish its EuroCup campaign on a winning note by ending its four-game losing streak.
Gran Canaria vs. Umana Reyer Venice
First-place Gran Canaria (12-5) hosts Umana Reyer Venice (8-9) in a game that will put a wrap on the regular season. Gran Canaria has won five in a row at home and will look to extend that run into the playoffs, where the team will enjoy home-court advantage the rest of the way. Reyer, which sits in seventh place in the standings, returned to winning ways last week with a 24-point triumph over Promitheas. A win in this game could send Reyer up to fifth place while a loss would ensure it finishes seventh, meaning it would face Partizan in the eighthfinals.
