“We played as a team. We knew that Partizan would try to have a reaction [in the second half]. But we executed on offense and kept control of the rebounds, and we made some shots. Everything after that was easier. Of course, I am a Partizan kid. But I was very focused on the game because I knew this victory could bring us a lot in the standings. And I am happy because of that.
“We knew that Partizand played two days ago a very tough game against Crvena Zvezda. But congrats to my players. They played very well as a team."

“We couldn’t do anything. We didn’t have any concentration, no energy. They deserved to win the game. They played much better.

“We deserve respect because we always remained a team and went step by step together. Every time I am asked what is the goal for the season I say go step by step, game by game - from LKL [Lithuanian League] to EuroCup - and grow as a team. And I think that is the reason we are now successful. Of course, I am a child of Partizan, I love the team. But for me, this is a big victory because they have a great team, a great coach. Of course, it’s a big thing to beat that big a team.”
