Trefl Sopot locks up Jakub Schenk through 2027

Trefl Sopot announced on Wednesday that it has re-signed point guard Jakub Schenk through the end of the 2026-27 season. Schenk (1.84 meters, 30 years old) averaged 11.9 points and 4.7 assists per game last season in the Polish League. It was his first season with the club. Schenk was chosen as the Polish League Finals MVP after he averaged 15.9 points on 42.4% three-point shooting, 3.1 assists and 3.1 steals for a PIR of 16.9 in the seven game series against King Szczecin.
Schenk played for Sopot’s youth teams and made his professional debut with Rosa Radom. He has also played for Polpharma Starogard, King Szczecin, Polski Cukier Torun, Grupa Sierleccy Czarni Slupsk and Anwil Wloclawek, all in his native Poland. Schenk has represented the Polish national team, including at EuroBasket 2022 and most recently in the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers in February.
