Turk Telekom Ankara found an old friend to strengthen in frontline as it announced the signing of Emircan Kosut for the 2025-26 season.
Kosut (2.16 meters, 30 years old) has spent the past two seasons with ONVO Buyukcekmece. He averaged 3.6 points and 3.0 rebounds in a reserve role last season. The center returns to the EuroCup for the first time since the 2018-18 season when he helped Darussafaka Istanbul take the crown.
A product of the Anadolu Efes Istanbul youth system, Kosut began his professional career there and even took part in 10 EuroLeague games over three seasons. In that time, Kosut also played for Efes's second division affiliate, Pertevniyal. He left in 2016 to play for Yesilgiresun and then Darussafaka. Kosut has since suited up for Yukatel Merkezefendi, Turk Telekom and Buyukcekmece.
