This season will be the fifth consecutive EuroCup campaign for Umana Reyer Venice and the club's sixth appearance overall. Reyer has advanced at least one stage in all but one of those campaigns and qualified for the quarterfinals in 2020 before that season came to a premature end due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As Reyer aims to reach the knockout stages once again, there are many hurdles to overcome in Group A . Here are three games that fans should circle on their calendars as they look ahead to the 2023-24 season.

Round 3: Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv vs. Umana Reyer Venice
Erasing bad memories
Reyer's 2022-23 EuroCup campaign came to an end in Tel Aviv with a 90-80 loss to Hapoel in the eighthfinals and the returning Reyer players will be eager to get a second shot of winning in the Israeli metropolis. That game is the only meeting to date between these teams and serves as an opportunity for some sporting revenge and to measure themselves against a 2023 quarterfinalist. Visiting Tel Aviv is also always special for Coach Neven Spahija, who served as the head coach of Hapoel's crosstown rival Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv on two separate occasions.
