About MARIS LAKSA

Grew up with BC Ventspils (Latvia) juniors.

Made his debut with BC Ventspils during the 1998-99 season.

Played there also the 1999-00 championship.

Played college basketball at Providence (2000-04).

At the end of the college season, moved to Slovenia signed by KK Elektra Sostanj.

On November '04 played just a game in the Ukrainian League with Azovmash Mariupol.

Back to Latvia, signed by BK Barons/LU Riga.

On January '05 moved to Poland, signed for the remainder of the season by KS Turow Zgorzelec.

Played there till December '05.Back to Latvia on January '06, signed by BC Ventspils.

He's still playing there.
