Latest signing: Barcelona signs EuroBasket MVP Willy Hernangomez
FC Barcelona has confirmed the signing of Willy Hernangomez on a three-year deal. Hernangomez (2.11 meters, 29 years old) has spent the last seven seasons playing in the NBA, most recently averaging 6.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 12:05 minutes across 38 games for the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2022-23 campaign. The Spanish center has previous experience of playing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, having played 17 games – all of which came from the bench – for Real Madrid in the 2012-13 and 2015-16 seasons, posting 3.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and a 4.4 PIR.
