The German guard joins the EuroLeague newcomer
Maodo Lo heads to Paris
Paris Basketball has added another weapon to its backcourt by signing Maodo Lo.
Lo (1.91 meters, 31 years old) is heading into his ninth season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. In the 2023-24 campaign, he averaged 7.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 21 games for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan.
The German point guard started his EuroLeague career with Brose Bamberg (2016-18) before heading to FC Bayern Munich (2018-20), ALBA Berlin (2020-23) and then Milan (2023-24).
So far, Lo has played a total of 220 games in the EuroLeague, posting career averages of 8.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
With the German national team, Lo helped his country become world champions at the 2023 FIBA World Cup and led them to a silver medal at EuroBasket 2022. He was also part of the Germany squad that achieved a fourth-placed finish at the 2024 Olympic Games.
In Paris, Lo will join an electric backcourt featuring two of the best guards in the BKT EuroCup last season: reigning EuroCup MVP TJ Shorts and Nadir Hifi.
