Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade held off Panathinaikos Athens 89-91 to win its third consecutive game on Thursday, but two of its players left the game with injuries. In the second half of the game, center Balsa Koprivica broke his hand while attempting a shot in traffic. Koprivica, who has averaged 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in limited action this season, is set to have surgery and expected to be sidelined for two months.
Partizan also announced that playmaker Dante Exum sprained his ankle during the game in Athens. His leg has been placed in a boot and his condition and the length of absence will be evaluated in the coming days.
"He will not be on the team in the upcoming games," the club wrote in a statement. Exum has averaged 9.8 points, 2.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 steal per game so far this season.
