The 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season has seen players produce like never before, with more than a half-dozen single-season individual records broken, while many other players came close to rewriting the statistical history books.
No player was busier breaking records than the MVP himself, Sasha Vezenkov. The Olympiacos Piraeus forward first broke the single-season mark in total PIR. In his 40 appearances during the 2022-23 campaign, Vezenkov accumulated 859 index rating points, trashing the previous mark of 765 set by Nikola Mirotic of FC Barcelona from a season before. Mathias Lessort of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade and Walter Tavares of Real Madrid also finished with top 5 single-season PIR marks.
