Anadolu Efes Istanbul bounced back from recent losses by downing FC Barcelona 96-86 at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall on Thursday. Efes broke a three-game losing streak and prevented Barca from getting a third consecutive victory.
Micic, Clyburn push Efes past Barcelona

Will Clyburn led the winners with 24 points Vasilije Micic got 22 to go with 5 assists and 4 steals. Elijah Bryant added 16 points while Amath M'Baye had 13 and 3 blocks for Efes, whose record rose to 3-5. Nico Laprovittola blasted a career-high 28 points for Barca, which dropped to 5-3 in the Regular Season table. Sertac Sanli added 18 points, Cory Higgins 14 and Nikola Kalinic 10 as the visitors fell to 5-3.

Micic and Bryant each hit a triple for an early 6-2 Efes lead. Kalinic and Sanli soon answered to put Barca in charge, 8-13. Kalinic kept pacing the guests, getting help from Higgins for a 16-22 lead after 10 minutes. Micic rescued Efes and Dunston dunked as Efes regained a 26-25 edge. M'Baye struck three times from downtown and Clyburn added another triple to keep Efes in front, 45-41, at halftime. Micic and Clyburn fueled an 8-0 start to the second half that provided the first double-digit difference, 53-41. Micic remained unstoppable and Isaiah Taylor helped him keep Efes fully in charge, 66-57, after 30 minutes. Clyburn took over early in the fourth quarter and even when an outstanding Laprovittola never gave up, Efes managed to keep a safe margin until the final buzzer.
