Faltering Zvezda (10-18) will look to get back on track against a Maccabi (15-13) team aiming for a third straight win.
Game Notes: Zvezda vs. Maccabi
Zvezda has lost four in a row to drop away from playoff contention, and knows it can't afford many more missed chances. Maccabi backcourt dynamo Wade Baldwin will take some stopping after scoring at least 16 points in nine consecutive games. The Serbian team could look to slow the pace by controlling the game through its frontcourt, where Luka Mitrovic had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in last week's loss at Monaco. Earlier this season, currently injured Milos Teodosic stunned Maccabi with 27 points and 14 assists to power a 92-98 road win, and Zvezda needs similar inspiration this time around.
- Crvena Zvezda has won its last six games against Maccabi, including a 92-98 decision in Round 16 with Milos Teodosic scoring 27 points, dishing a career-high 14 assists and accumulating a PIR of 40, earning the MVP of the Round honor.
- Crvena Zvezda head coach Ioannis Sfairopolous spent four seasons on Maccabi’s bench, from 2018 to 2022, and guided the team to the 2022 EuroLeague Playoffs. John DiBartolomeo, Roman Sorkin and Jake Cohen all played under Sfairopoulos during his time with the club.
- Crvena Zvezda had 48 rebounds in a 76-64 win over Maccabi in April 2021, which is a club record.
- When Crvena Zvezda routed Maccabi 83-58 in Round 12 of the 2016-17 season, it marked the first time in a EuroLeague game that a team – in this case, Maccabi - did not shoot a single free throw.
- Crvena Zvezda’s single-game individual record for rebounds is 17, which Boban Marjanovic tied against Maccabi Tel Aviv on March 5, 2015.
- Maccabi playmaker Lorenzo Brown made his EuroLeague debut with Crvena Zvezda during the 2019-20 season.
- Brown sank a game-winner against Crvena Zvezda in January 2021 when he made a buzzer-beating floater playing for Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul in a 71-73 win.
- Maccabi's Wade Baldwin had career highs in points (38), three-pointers made (6) and free-throws made (10) in an 86-89 home loss against Zvezda in February of last season.

- Crvena Zvezda guard Branko Lazic posted 7 rebounds and 5 offensive rebounds against Maccabi in October 2017, which are both career-best marks.
