Aris retains Georgios Gkiouzelis for two more seasons

Aris Thessaloniki announced that forward Georgios Gkiouzelis will remain with the club for two more seasons.
Gkiouzelis (2.04 meters, 29 years old) joined Aris in 2024 and featured in both Greek League and EuroCup action last season. Known for his defensive energy and hustle, he posted 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in limited minutes in the EuroCup and 3.1 points and 1.8 boards in Greek league action.
A native of Serres, Greece, Gkiouzelis played for the Panathinaikos Athens youth teams and began his professional career in 2014 with Agia Paraskevi. He has played for a wide range of Greek clubs including Ionikos Nikaias, Peristeri, Koroivos Amaliadas, Diagoras Dryopideon, Iraklis, Karditsa, and Apollon Patras.
