Besiktas GAIN Istanbul has made a splash by signing Ante Zizic, who has penned a deal for the 2025-26 season.
Zizic (2.10 meters, 28 years old) averaged 8.0 points and 3.8 rebounds in 25 EuroLeague games last season for Virtus Bologna, which he joined midway through the 2023-24 campaign.
After six seasons in the EuroLeague with Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul (2016-17), Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (2020-22), Anadolu Efes Istanbul (2022-23) and Virtus (2024-25), Zizic will play in the BKT EuroCup for the first time next season.
In addition to his EuroLeague experience, the Croatian played 121 times in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers between 2017 and 2020.
Early in his career, Zizic also featured for Kastela (2013-14) and Cibona (2014-16), both in his native Croatia.
