Paris Basketball, one of five newcomers in this year's 7DAYS EuroCup, has won back-to-back games for the first time this season after downing Veolia Towers Hamburg 87-84. Curiously, this victory is also the team's first-ever EuroCup triumph at Halle Georges Carpinter, having lost to Hapoel Vegan Friendly Tel Aviv and Gran Canaria on its home floor in Rounds 2 and 4, respectively.
The first half against Hamburg did not go to plan for Paris head coach Will Weaver, as his team trailed 33-43 but had played well below the level it had demonstrated in recent games. Star point guard Kyle Allman was scoreless at the break, yet 21-year-old sensation Ismael Kamagate showed what he is capable of with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Nevertheless, Paris needed more.
