The playmaker returns to the English capital after previously playing two season for the Lions
London brings back guard Tarik Phillip

The London Lions announced on Wednesday that point guard Tarik Phillip signed a one-year deal to return for a second stint at the club.
Phillip (1.91 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, where he averaged 4.9 points and 2.0 assists in 11 BKT EuroCup games last season. He started the 2024-25 campaign with Polish side Trefl Sopot, where he was worth 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.3 steals in eight EuroCup games before joining Jerusalem. Phillip already played for the Lions for two seasons, helping it win back-to-back British League championships in 2023 and 2024. He also helped London reach the EuroCup Semifinals in 2024.
After a three-year stint at West Virginia University, Phillip started his professional basketball career with Szolnoki Olaj in Hungary. He has also played for Clavijo Logrono and San Pablo Burgos in Spain, the Memphis Hustle in the G League, Tofas Bursa in Turkiye and Umana Reyer Venice in Italy. In 64 EuroCup career games with Tofas, Reyer, London, Sopot and Jerusalem, Phillip has averaged 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
