NINERS Chemnitz signs versatile forward Ty Brewer

NINERS Chemnitz's lineup gained energy and scoring punch with the signing of forward Ty Brewer, who arrives from fellow German side SYNTAINICS MBC. Brewer signed a one-year deal with an option for a second.
Brewer (2.00 meters, 25 years old) was a standout performer for MBC last season, helping the club to its best finish in years by reaching the German League playoffs and lifting the German Cup. He averaged 11.6 points on 41.4% three-point shooting and 4.8 rebounds for MBP. Brewer made a strong impression in both meetings against Chemnitz, combining for 47 points across the two contests.
“Ty has a high motor, plays hard, and is ready to do the dirty work. He can score near the rim or from outside and is a strong one-on-one defender,” Coach Rodrigo Pastore said. “We believe his hunger and work ethic are a perfect fit for our culture in Chemnitz.”
Brewer played college basketball at Southeastern Louisiana University, East Tennessee State University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham before making his professional debut in Greece with GS Esperos Lamias in 2023. He also played for Greek club Panerythraikos AS and then joined MBC last summer.
