Prometey Slobozhanske has bolstered its frontcourt by inking center Jehyve Floyd to a one-year deal, the club announced on Tuesday. Floyd (25 years old, 2.03 meters) arrives from Galatasaray Istanbul, where he averaged 4.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in four Turkish League games last season. He started his professional career with Larissa, leading the 2019-20 Greek League in blocked shots at 2.2 per night. Floyd has also played for Promitheas Patras and Panathinaikos Athens of Greece, Hapoel Galil Gilboa of Israel and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul of Turkey. He helped Fenerbahce win the Turkish League title in 2022. Floyd had a brief experience in the 7DAYS EuroCup, playing 104 seconds for Promitheas against Gran Canaria in the 2020-21 campaign. The following season, 2021-22, he played 24 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague: 10 for Panathinaikos and 14 for Fenerbahce.
