Ready for its sixth consecutive season in the competition, former semifinalist Dolomiti Energia Trento is familiar with the highs as well as the lows in the 7DAYS EuroCup. This season, continuing head coach Emanuele Molin has more than half of his players returning giving Trento roster stability that should help in its EuroCup journey.
BACKCOURT
There will be many familiar faces in Trento's backcourt, headlined by left-handed playmaker Diego Flaccadori who is poised to take the reins of this offense. He will share his duties, but also spend a lot of time together on the floor with one of the most talented young point guards on the continent, 19-year-old Matteo Spagnolo, who is set to take another step in his career by making his EuroCup debut on-loan from Real Madrid. One of the longest-tenured players in all of the competition, team captain Toto Forray will be bringing energy on both ends of the floor in his seventh season in the EuroCup and 12th with the club. Another familiar face in the Trento backcourt is a veteran guard Trent Lockett who returns to the club six years after playing a key part in helping it reach the 2016 EuroCup Semifinals. Teenagers Mourtada Gaye, Richard Morina and Lorenzo Zangheri hope to make their respective competition debuts.
