Aris bolsters backcourt with Bochoridis, rookie Miles
Aris Midea Thessaloniki signed one year contracts with guards Eleftherios Bochoridis and Mike Miles, the club announced on Saturday. Bochoridis has resigned with Aris after re-joining the club last summer for his third stint in Thessaloniki, while Miles arrives for his first try on the European continent.
An experienced shooter, Bochoridis (1.96 meters, 30 years old) helped Aris reach the EuroCup postseason in 2023-24. He averaged 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals playing more than 25 minutes per game in 15 appearances. He started his career with Aris and made his debut in the EuroCup as a teenager with Aris in the 2011-12 season. He then joined Panathinaikos Athens in 2014, spending three years with the Greens before returning to Aris. In 2020, Bochoridis moved back to Athens for another stint with Panathinaikos before re-joining Aris last summer.
Miles has one professional season under his belt, and he spent it in G-League with Texas Legends averaging 10.8 points, 2.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds. Prior to that, he spent three years playing NCAA basketball at Texas Christian University. He is now set to make his BKT EuroCup debut.
