Aris Thessaloniki got some muscle under the basket for its return to the 7DAYS EuroCup with the addition of forward Silvio De Sousa, the club announced Wednesday.
De Sousa (2.06 meters, 24 years old) singed a one-year deal. He arrives from French League side Roanne where he averaged 8.9 points and 4.9 rebounds last season. It was De Sousa's first as a professional.
He has spent three years in the NCAA playing for University of Kansas, and a year with University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. De Sousa has been a member of Angolan national team and in the youth categories he won gold medals at the U16 African Championship in 2013 and U18 African Championship in 2016.
