Barry Brown Jr. heads to Reyer Venezia

Umana Reyer Venice has confirmed the arrival of Barry Brown Jr., who will play in the BKT EuroCup for the first time next season. Brown Jr. (1.90 meters, 26 years old) split the 2022-23 campaign between the New Zealand Breakers in the NBL and Metropolitans 92 in the French League. With the New Zealand Breakers, he helped the team reach the NBL Finals after averaging 19.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 28 games. Due to those performances, he was named to the All-NBL Second Team and was also selected as the NBL Best Sixth Man. Then, with Metropolitans, Brown Jr. posted 12.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 11 appearances as his side reached the French League Finals. Brown Jr. has also played professionally for the Iowa Wolves in the G League (2019-20), Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany (2020-21) and the Beijing Ducks in China (2021-22).
