Odiase began his professional career with Iberostar Tenerife of Spain in 2018, signing a deal until the end of the 2017-18 season after spending four years playing basketball at the University of Illinois. He then represented GS Lavrio of Greece and Greensboro of the G-League in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, respectively, before joining BG Goettingen of Germany in 2020. It was during his time at Goettingen that he caught the attention of many inside Germany, recording 13.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in the German League in the 2020-21 campaign. Last summer, he joined Oldenburg and got his first taste of European basketball, playing in the Basketball Champions League.
