Pallacanestro Brescia confirmed its first new signing for the upcoming season, none other than guard C.J. Massinburg, who penned a two-year deal with his new club.

Massinburg (1.90 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Limoges CSP, where he averaged 14.4 points on 40.0% three-point shooting, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 34 French League games last season. He started his professional basketball career with Long Island of the G League, where he played for two years. Before that, he finished his college career at the University of Buffalo, averaging 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in the 2018-19 season.
Massinburg is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Brescia next season. "CJ is a player who comes from an excellent first European year in France, he wants to learn, to work and to grow," Brescia head coach Alessangro Magro said. "He wants and knows how to make himself available to the team and is able to do what a team needs to compete, in many different ways. He has very high potential and we are happy to have him with us and to be able to work and grow together".
