Buducnost VOLI Podgorica turned around a disappointing loss in its Round 1 home opener with a prolific rout of its host, Slask Wroclaw, in Round 2 on Tuesday.
The 58-98 final score amounted to the biggest victory in Buducnost's 184 games to date in the 7DAYS EuroCup. It's previous three best efforts were all home wins, the largest being an 89-56 decision over Steaua Bucharest in the 2015-16 season.
The final 40-point difference for Buducnost also tied for the second-biggest win in EuroCup history by a road team. The only bigger road wins happened at least 14 years ago, with the widest margin for a team away from home at 45 points, by BK Ventspils over Eiffeltowers Nijmegen in the 2004-05 season.
Buducnost's 130 team performance index rating was the club's second-best ever and its high-water mark away from home. Its 19 offensive rebounds, paced by Alpha Kaba with 4, matched the team's second-highest total ever.
