Buducnost VOLI Podgorica strengthened its frontcourt by inking center Kenan Kamenjas to a one-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Kamenjas (2.07 meters, 22 years old) arrives from SC Derby Podgorica, where he averaged 14.3 points on 64.6% two-point shooting and a competition-best 8.4 rebounds in 26 Adriatic League games last season. He also led the competition in PIR average (21.0), which helped him get a spot in the All-Adriatic League First Team.

Nicknamed "Kamenji", Kamenjas started his professional career with OKK Spars Sarajevo of his native Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also played for Bosnian side Travnik before joining Derby in 2021. Kamenjas helped Spars win the Bosnian Cup title in 2020. He is also a regular member of the Bosnian national team.
