Buducnost VOLI Podgorica continued building its roster for the upcoming season with guard Phil Booth, the club announced Thursday. Booth (1.88 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Oostende in Belgium where he posted 13.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists playing in the Belgian League and Basketball Champions League. That was the first season on the European continent for Booth, who starred at the Villanova University, winning a pair of NCAA titles, in 2016 and 2018. Professionally, he played in the G-League with Capital City and Oklahoma City, before joining Oostende in 2021. He is now set to make his EuroCup debut.
