### A chance for a little payback

Buducnost returns to Ratiopharm Arena, where it ended its 2022-23 EuroCup campaign. Buducnost advanced from the regular season but did not have the home-court advantage in its do-or-die eighthfinals showdown against Ulm, which prevailed 92-83 after rallying from a 17-point deficit. Even though both teams have brand-new rosters, Buducnost should have extra motivation in this game, especially its returning players.

### Back to familiar place

Buducnost head coach Petar Mijovic returns to Wroclaw where he coached Slask at the start of 2021-22 season before he was dismissed even before the EuroCup season opener. Now, he goes back leading a highly-ambitious Buducnost, which swept the series against Slask last season, including a 40-point win in Wroclaw. The hosts would like a little revenge for that game, but Coach Mijovic would certainly love to leave Wroclaw with a win.

### Reigning champs come to town

These two foes have faced each other eight times in the EuroCup entering this season, all since 2010, and Gran Canaria has won all eight games. Last season, Buducnost welcomed Gran Canaria in the penultimate round of the regular season and the visitors ran through the Montenegrin capital with a 25-point victory.
