Frutti Extra Bursaspor added size and depth to it roster by inking forward Yigitcan Saybir, the club announced Thursday. Saybir (2.03 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, where he averaged 4.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 39 Turkish League games last season. He helped Efes win the 2021-22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title, even when Saybir only stepped on court for 86 seconds in a Round 6 game against Panathinaikos OPAP Athens. Saybir grew up with Efes and made his first team debut in the 2017-18 season.

In his time with Efes, Saybir helped the club win two Turkish Cup titles in 2018 and 2022, and two Turkish League crowns in 2019 and 2021. He was sent on loan to Istanbul Basket in the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 17.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in 10 Turkish second division games. Saybir has also been a member of the Turkish national team.
