Frutti Extra Bursaspor bolstered its frontline with the signing of veteran center Ahmet Duverioglu for the coming season. Duverioglu (2.09 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, where he spent the past six seasons, reached a pair of EuroLeague Final Fours and won the championship in 2017. Last season he averaged 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8:21 minutes per game in the EuroLeague. He is ranked third all-time in the EuroLeague in two-point shooting at 67.9%.

Duverioglu began his career with Zain in his native Jordan and played for Al Riyadi and ASU Amman before briefly joining Serbia’s Mega Vizura in 2014. He then penned a deal with Pertevniyal Istanbul and made his EuroLeague debut with Anadolu Efes Istanbul in 2015 before signing with Fenerbahce in 2016. Duverioglu’s trophy case includes three Turkish League championships with Fenerbahce and two Turkish Cups.
