Last-placed Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana got back to winning by edging the visiting Umana Reyer Venice 77-73 on Wednesday night in Arena Stozice. The victory snapped Cedevita's three-game losing streak and kept its playoff chances alive, improving to 3-10 in Group A. Meanwhile, Reyer dropped to 7-6 and fifth place, but did maintain the potential tiebreak advantage over Cedevita, having won their first clash by 8 points.

Yogi Ferrell paced the winners with 20 points and 7 assists. Josh Adams had 16 points, Marko Jeremic netted 14 on 4-for-7 three-point shooting, Edo Muric collected 13 points plus 7 rebounds, while Alen Omic pulled down 19 rebounds. Jayson Granger had 19 points for Reyer, Mitchell Watt had a double-double of 12 points plus 10 rebounds and Riccardo Moraschini scored 10 in a loss.

Watt was doing the work inside, while Marco Spissu and Granger each made a shot from three-point land, but Jeremic netted 3 first-quarter triples and another from Ferrell helped open a 26-18 margin. Adams and Karlo Matkovic hooked up for a pair of alley-oop dunks, but Jeff Brooks scored 6 points for the visitors, before three-pointers from Granger and Andrea De Nicolao. A three-point play from Moraschini helped Reyer open a 32-39 lead, capping a 0-13 run. Ferrell hit from downtown to make it 40-44 at halftime.
Cedevita came out with better energy in the third quarter and more triples from Jeremic, Adams and Ferrell restored the hosts' lead. Adams had a three-point play that opened a 58-53 margin, but Moraschini and Watt cut it within 61-59 after 30 minutes.
De Nicolao's triple had Reyer back ahead, 63-64. The two sides kept trading blows and neither team had a margin bigger than 3 points. A corner three from Jordan Parks made it 69-70, but Muric responded with a drive to the rim that sparked a 6-0 run. Moraschini sank another triple for the visitors, but Ferrell iced the game from the foul line.
